The SDM educational society has built a rich heritage of over four decades in education, Although small towns of the Indian hinterland tend to suffer in comparison with their metropolitan counterparts in terms of infrastructure & academic standards of their educational institutions, an exception is the tiny hamlet of UJIRE in costal Karnataka which thanks to the pioneering efforts of SDM educational society established by professional education visionary PADMA BUSHANA DR.D.VEERENDRA HEGGADE.
This neat, well-administered town which is a model for town planners country-wide, is the epicenter of the SDME society which under the leadership of honorable president DR.D.VEERENDRA HEGGADE that has metamorphosed into the country’s largest provider of internationally acceptable medical, engineering, ayurveda, naturopathy, business-management, communication, education etc, moreover over the past 4 decade SDM has acquired a global reputation of the quality education it provides.
