Mr. K. C. Naik, the founder, started the operations of the group in 1961 with an pioneering entry into the transport business. The years ahead saw the company venture into the challenging area of real estate with the launch of Mahabaleshwara Builders and Promoters, now regarded as the Group's flagship company.
Complementing Mahabaleshwara's construction and transportation operations are other ventures like Sarosh Technical Services which is a company involved in the manufacturing of precured tread rubber and the Group's two successful retail stores - Kaycien Sales and Classique Supermarkets.
