The business which was gaining momentum, needed to expand due to the increased brand value. The first step in expansion happened in the early 50’s when the first branch was setup on K.S. Rao road, Hampankatta. The School Book Company branch was a replica of the existing business located in the commercial hub of the city. Due to lack of space to accommodate customers comfortably, it was shifted in 2006 after half a century of service. The branch was shifted to Nalapad Apsara Chambers which is right across the road of its original location.

Due to lack of space in the premises of the old store in car street, the business was shifted to its own large premises popularly known as the ‘School Book Building’ in 1977 which proudly stands in front of the Venkatramana temple in Car Street as a landmark.
